Shandong Yaohua Glass has just taken another big step in high-end glass processing. The company's third North Glass three-section bending tempering furnace has arrived at its production site. This follows the first two North Glass high-end double-chamber three-air-blast furnaces that went into operation earlier. It's a major move to expand tempered glass capacity and strengthen their high-end glass lineup, aiming to deliver better products for quality housing, system windows and doors, and high-end curtain walls.
Core Equipment Upgrade
As a key piece of equipment in glass processing, this new North Glass three-section bending furnace can handle glass from 5mm to 19mm thick, and achieve a tight bending radius as small as 450mm for precision curved glass.
Bringing in the third furnace shows Shandong Yaohua's long-term commitment to high-end glass and building serious production muscle. Looking back, the company has always followed market trends, focused on high-end and smart manufacturing, and invested heavily in equipment:
October 2025: The first North Glass 8m × 3.3m double-chamber three-air-blast high-end tempering furnace started production, greatly boosting capacity for oversized tempered glass used in large sliding doors and high-end curtain walls.
May 2026: The second North Glass 6m × 3m double-chamber three-air-blast tempering furnace came online, further expanding high-end tempered glass capacity to handle a wider range of sizes for doors, windows, and curtain walls.
Beyond tempering furnaces, the company has invested over 100 million RMB in three years to bring in two Glaston 4SG flexible warm-edge insulating glass lines, plus a full smart upgrade of the entire production system. This puts them firmly in the new national standard flexible warm-edge market, creating a complete high-end production loop covering tempering, laminating, and insulated glass.
